Best Locations for Vending Machines
|
You can ask several people in the vending machine business where the best locations for vending machines are and you will get a variety of answers. This is because they have found different sites that work well for them through trial and error. In general though, the best locations for vending machines are those where a steady stream of foot traffic is in the area on a regular basis.
Have you ever attended an outdoor sporting event or social event and wished you had a drink or a snack with you? If so, this could be one of the best locations for vending machines in your area. If you have had that thought at one time or another there is a good chance that other people have as well.
It is worth the time you will invest to ask other people where they go that doesn’t have vending machines they can access. This is an inexpensive way to explore ideas for the best locations for vending machines. Don’t rule out asking teenagers and school age children as well. They may have plenty of ideas that you haven’t even thought about because you don’t hang out in the same locations as they do.
Think about the different activities that people in your area engage in. Those that will result in them being either hungry or thirsty may turn out to be the best locations for vending machines in your area. For example it doesn’t make too much sense to place vending machines outside of a convenient store as they can go in and access everything they want.
However, you may want to place vending machines inside your local laundry mats. It can be boring to wait for clothing to wash and dry so enjoying a cold drink or a snack can be a great way to pass the time. You will need to be creative in your thinking to be able to secure the best locations for vending machines.
Don’t be afraid to try out particular locations on a trial basis. If you find they aren’t going to meet your goals for earning potential then look for other locations to move them to. Sometimes placing vending machines in a questionable area turns out to be a very profitable choice.
Decide on a specific length of time you are willing to leave the vending machines in these questionable areas. It may be a month, three months, or even six months. After that period of time you can decide if you want to leave it there permanently. If you find it simply isn’t making any money at all you may decide to move it sooner.
Don’t get yourself involved with a vending machine locator service because they are nothing but a waste of your time and money. You will either end up with vending machine locations that don’t offer you a good amount of business or you will end up with no results and your money is gone. More and more scams are being uncovered involving various vending machine locator services so steer clear of them.

We searched high and low to find a legitimate resource to recommend to our previous readers. We wanted to find a resource that would teach new operators what information they needed to know to protect themselves from vending locating scams, and the information they need to start to find locations themselves. We couldn't find a single resource we could endorse!
Find out the ONE LITTLE THING that was missing from ALL the resources we evaluated!
After starting out our vending adventure completely the wrong way, we turned lemons into lemonade and worked for years to build a large, profitable, full time vending company. To read more of that adventure, why we wrote our first vending book, and why that FORCED us to write this to warn people about vending locating problems, (click here)
