Placing Vending Machines

One of the biggest dilemmas with a vending business is the process of placing vending machines. There are so many details to take care of including what you will stock them with, where you should place them to make the most profits, and negotiating the location with the owner of the property. There are plenty of great places for placing vending machines so don’t limit yourself in your search.

You want to get a great deal of though to where you are placing vending machines as it is going to play a vital role in how successful your business is. You can have several vending machines out there, but if no one is buying anything from them you will soon find that this isn’t a business venture that is going to provide you with any financial freedom.

When you are placing vending machines you need to look for locations where there is a need not being met. Take the time to brainstorm about places you have been and wished you could purchase a drink or a snack. Ask those in the working community because they often need these items during the day but have to go without. Take a look at the various places around town where people gather for events. Chances are you will come up with some good options for placing vending machines.

Next you will have to schedule some appointments with the owners of these locations to find out if they are willing to work with you. Keep a list of your prospective vending locations and who you need to speak with. If having the vending machines in place are going to benefit them as well make sure you emphasis these points.

You will likely have to agree to a financial obligation with them when you are placing vending machines. This can be a set amount or a percentage of the sales these vending machines generate. Make sure you get all the information in writing and that you both agree to the terms of the agreement. It may be valid for a set period of time or either party may have the option of canceling the agreement at any time.

While it may be enticing to consider using a vendor location company, don’t do it. You will regret making such decisions because they are known for scamming people out of their money. Even if they do assist you with a location for placing vending machines, chances are they haven’t conducted quality research to find out if they are going to generate plenty of profits for you.

Chances are you have invested plenty of money in the vending machines so don’t let your dreams of a profitable vending business be ruined by such scam artists. These types of people play on your emotions when it comes to placing vending machines. Once you provide them with the money for the service they will be long gone and you will be stuck with a very difficult business situation.

What you share in this ebook are tried and true techniques to locate vending machines, punctuated by the good and bad experience you (and others) have had. I've had vending machines sitting around in my garage for over a year and finally I have the motivation AND KNOW_HOW to get them placed.
Thank you Rob and Patti!
